Dr. David L Sanford, DDS
I am a St. Charles native who grew up with a love for family, friends, sports and outdoors. After graduating from Francis Howell Central, I was blessed with the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wartburg College while playing soccer. From there I obtained my Masters in biochemistry from the University of Missouri St. Louis. My childhood dream of becoming a dentist was answered as I received my acceptance letter in 2015 to the University of Missouri Kansas City where I achieved my Doctorate in 2019.
Early career opportunities led me to Quincy Illinois, where my wife and I have had the good fortune of calling home for the past 3 years. While serving the community of Quincy has been wonderful, with the arrival of our little girl, we have decided to come back home to our family and friends.
In my free time I love all sports, carpentry, masonry, hunting, fishing and of course, spending as much time with my wife, Ailie, and daughter, Piper. We love to try new restaurants, barbecue with family, and recreational sports with our friends.
With family as my primary motive for becoming a dentist, I can assure you that all patients will be treated with the same care and respect that I give to my family. Having strong roots in the area, I look forward to seeing all my patients smile and forget about dental pain or anxiety after becoming part of my “patient family” at Hawk Ridge Dental Care.
