Dr. Angela K Pernoud, DDS

Dentist

Meet Dr. Angela! Her mission is to create a patient centric experience for all her patients while serving not only her patients and team, but also the community. She has been in the dental field since 1998 starting as a front desk assistant then moving into orthodontic assisting. Dr. Angela was selected into the University of Missouri-Kansas City as a 6-year BA/DDS candidate. During that tenure, she earned her BA in Biology and her DDS degree and graduated in 2006. Following dental school graduation, Dr. Angela was selected for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program where she trained alongside the faculty dental professors at UMKC and oversaw numerous challenging dental cases that were referred to the residents. Once graduating from the residency program in 2007, Dr. Angela and Dr. Michael founded Hawk Ridge Dental Care with a goal of being the destination for oral health care in the region by being patient centric and providing optimal care for their patients. Dr. Angela is honored to be consistently awarded the Top Doctor award, Most Honored Professionals award. She is an active member of a Spear Study Club and participates in multiple continuing education experiences each year. As a mom of 4 children, most of her free time is spent with the family. She enjoys volunteering at the school, serving on the school board and coaching her children in softball and volleyball. As a family, the Pernouds’ enjoy doing Tae Kwon Do, traveling, playing with their animals and hanging out in the pool during the summer months.

Dr. Michael J Pernoud, DDS

Dentist

Meet Dr. Michael! His mission is to enrich the lives of family, friends, the team and our patients by providing optimal dentistry and opportunities for personal and professional successes. He has been in the dental field since 1997, where he began as an oral surgery assistant, working with his father. Upon entering college, Dr. Michael earned a double major in Biology (BS) and Chemistry (BA) at St. Louis University. He then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree in 2006 and later earned his certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). Upon completion of his residency, he and Dr. Angela founded Hawk Ridge Dental Care where they have been serving the community since 2007. He is truly honored to be named since 2013 as a yearly recipient of the Top Doctor award as well as Most Honored Professional Award (top 1%). Dr. Michael serves as a Spear Study Group Leader. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with Angela and his 4 children, the cat and mini golden-doodle. He is a recommended black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys outdoor activities of hiking and spending time in the pool during warmer weather. As a proficient cook, you can often find him in the kitchen making meals for his family and friends.
